Privacy notice
Your information should stay part of the conversation.
Effective August 28, 2026
Booking, confirmed-client music and event planning, coaching, Live Gig Shadow Experience, Mix Vault release-alert submissions, direct Mix Vault purchases, and personalized apparel orders are recorded in J-Hill Entertainment's protected business system. A transactional email service forwards privacy-minimized notification alerts to the business inbox.
Information we collect
When you submit a booking, confirmed-client planning form, coaching or Live Gig Shadow Experience inquiry, join the Mix Vault release list, schedule a consultation, purchase a digital mix, or order personalized apparel, J-Hill Entertainment may collect your name, email address, phone number if provided, booking reference, event information, music preferences, must-play and do-not-play requests, playlist links, event timelines, formalities, pronunciations, coaching or learning goals, DJ experience level, equipment or software information, preferred program or public gig, availability, appointment time, communication consent, apparel design, size, color, skate name or social media handle, shipping address, personalized proof, purchase and fulfillment details, and other information you choose to share. For college, school, and other institutional events, the private planning form may also collect an organization and department name, campus venue and access instructions, attendance and audience details, power and vendor rules, certificate-of-insurance instructions, billing contact and address, purchase-order or vendor references, payment terms, W-9 requirement status, and invoice-submission instructions. The form specifically tells users not to enter tax IDs or banking information. Booking links may also include referral labels identifying the marketplace or campaign that sent you; this attribution does not use a cross-site tracking cookie. To protect public forms from abuse, the hosting service supplies connection information such as an IP address. The website converts that address into a short-lived keyed rate-limit code and does not store the raw address in J-Hill Entertainment's business database.
How we use it
We use inquiry, confirmed-client planning, billing, and purchase information to respond to you, evaluate availability and fit, prepare an event recommendation, quote, or invoice, complete venue and vendor onboarding, plan music and event formalities for a confirmed engagement, arrange a coaching consultation, review venue and event access for a potential shadow experience, coordinate a potential booking or enrollment, send requested Mix Vault release alerts, process and fulfill digital-mix and personalized-apparel orders, review custom spelling and print proofs, prevent unauthorized access, resolve payment or delivery issues, and maintain basic business records. We do not sell your personal information.
Transactional text messages
If you separately check the optional text-message box on the booking form, J-Hill Entertainment may send transactional messages to the mobile number you provide about that booking, such as payment confirmation, intake reminders, and event updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Text-message consent is not a condition of purchase, and it is not consent to receive marketing messages. We record the number, consent choice, time, source, and policy version needed to honor your choice. Mobile information and text-message consent are not sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. They may be provided to a messaging service only as needed to deliver and operate the requested messages.
Who receives it
Inquiry information is received by J-Hill Entertainment. Cloudflare provides website hosting, protected business-record storage, DNS, and email forwarding. Resend or the configured fallback form provider processes privacy-minimized owner-notification delivery. Google provides the destination inbox, consultation scheduling, calendar invitations, and Google Meet links. Stripe receives checkout, contact, and shipping details needed to process an eligible payment. For a custom shirt that J-Hill approves for manufacturing, Printful receives the selected product and variant, print artwork and personalized name layer, recipient contact details, and shipping address needed to make and deliver that order. If you choose another third-party listening, video, or checkout option, that provider receives the information needed to serve media or complete the transaction. These providers handle information under their own privacy terms as needed to deliver the service.
Calendar availability
The booking page checks tagged DJ events on James's Workflow calendar to display DJ-related busy time. Personal and unrelated events are excluded. The public website receives only the start and end of busy windows; it does not display event names, descriptions, guests, locations, or other private calendar details. Selecting an open time sends a request and does not automatically create or confirm a calendar event.
Instagram media
The website includes links to performance media on Instagram. When a visitor follows one of those links, Instagram may receive device and usage information under its own privacy practices.
Embedded media and external listening
Mix Vault pages may link to or embed media hosted by services such as Mixlr, Mixcloud, YouTube, or Bandcamp. Those services may receive your IP address, browser or device information, and interaction data when their player loads or when you follow a link. Where available, the website uses privacy-enhanced embed options, but the provider's own privacy notice still applies.
Payments
If you make an eligible purchase through Bandcamp, Stripe, or another identified checkout provider, payment details are entered with and processed by that provider. J-Hill Entertainment may record transaction details such as your name, email address, item purchased, amount, payment status, refund or dispute status, provider reference, invoice and purchase-order details, and secure-delivery status in its protected business system, but does not receive or store your full card number through this website. Professional invoice drafts and previews remain in the private owner workspace unless separately approved and shared. For a direct Mix Vault purchase, the site creates a private, seven-day download grant and records limited fulfillment activity needed to deliver the file and prevent unauthorized access.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry, booking, order, payment-status, and fulfillment information only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or confirmed engagement, deliver purchases, prevent misuse, meet legal or accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Secure Mix Vault download access expires seven days after purchase, although transaction records may be retained longer for those business and legal purposes.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct, or delete information you submitted, subject to records we must retain. You may withdraw transactional text-message consent at any time by replying STOP; reply HELP for help. You may leave the Mix Vault release list at any time by replying to an alert or emailing with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line. Email bookings@jhillentertainment.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line for other requests.

This notice may change as the website, providers, or business operations change. The effective date above will be updated when revisions are made.
